USAF Band to "Blog" During Inaugural Preparations and Parade
| If you can't make the trip to Washington, D.C. for the Inauguration in January,
don't distress. This year, Band members Technical Sgt. Jay Heltzer and
Master Sgt. Brian McCurdy will publish a blog describing their experiences
as they participate in this historic event. Their posts will cover The
United States Air Force Band, beginning with its preparations in early
January, through Inauguration Day on January 20th. Be sure to visit the Air Force blog throughout January to receive the most current news about the Air Force, including the Band's Inaugural preparations. Then, on January 20th, you can enjoy the Inaugural parade from our inside perspective without having to deal with travel, the weather, long lines or the crowds. See you online! Read more... |

a novel, here are some of the highlights of the job, as well as some of
the other things a Singing Sergeant might be seen doing around town. Read more... |
