Lt. Col. Philip Waite From The Commander

Drinking From the Proverbial "Fire Hose"

Lately, I have likened the pace of duty as commander of this remarkable squadron to "drinking from a fire hose." Truly, the pace of musical preparation and production execution is a "fire hose" all its own, while administrative duties seem the equivalent of the falls at Niagara. I'm discovering the art of surging up for air at just the right time so as to not miss the brilliance of the incredible professionals by whom I am surrounded ... and supported. I offer special thanks to Chief Master Sergeant Joe Tersero, my command band manager, who has strengthened and encouraged me without fail!

...Of Max Impact

By Tech. Sgt. Jonathan McPherson
Keyboardist, Max Impact

Many times I'm asked the question, "What is it like to be in Max Impact?" Trying my best to summarize the answer, I often relate my job to the exciting theme park "hypercoaster," Superman Ride of Steel! So, allow me to buckle you into Max Impact for a minute and take you for a ride, as I highlight some of the things that make up a typical day for us.
