Master Sergeant Richard B. Sigler
Master Sergeant Richard B. Sigler is a jazz trumpeter with the Airmen of Note, the premier jazz ensemble of the United States Air Force, The United States Air Force Band, Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C. Additionally, Sergeant Sigler is Assistant Musical Director for The Airmen of Note. Originally from Mountain View, CA, his career in the Air Force began in 1989.

A graduate of the University of North Texas, Sergeant Sigler majored in jazz studies. His former teachers include Bobby Shew, Leonard Candelaria and Don Jacoby. In addition to working such notable jazz artists as Nicholas Payton, The Brecker Brothers, Bob Berg, and Peter Erskine, Sergeant Sigler has also toured with the Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Sergeant Sigler's military awards and decorations include the Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with four oak leaf clusters, the National Defense Service Medal with a bronze star, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
