Technical Sergeant Willie E. Clark

Technical Sgt. Willie E. Clark Jr. is a tubist with the Ceremonial Brass, The United States Air Force Band, Washington, D.C. In addition to his performance duties, Sergeant Clark is the operations assistant for the Ceremonial Brass. He also manages the Band's YouTube page as part of the social media team. A native of Harvey, Ill., his Air Force career began in October 2003.

Before joining the Air Force, Sergeant Clark performed as a founding member of the Walt Disney World tuba quartet, "The Tubafours," from 1990-2000. He also served as the adjunct tuba professor at Stetson University and Bethune Cookman College.

Sergeant Clark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois and a Master of Music degree from the University of Georgia. His teachers include John Weber, Fritz Kaenzig, Fred Mills, Roger Rocco, David Pack and David Zerkel.

Air Force career highlights include performances in two inaugural parades, five NBC Today show appearances, and playing for the Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony for the Tuskegee Airmen. In addition to his Air Force performances, Sergeant Clark has toured with the Empire Brass, China National Symphony, American Wind Symphony Orchestra and the National Philharmonic Orchestra.
