The United States Air Force Band's Summer Concert Series has been part of Washington D.C.'s cultural life for more than a half-century. Throughout the summer months of June, July and August, the Band's performing ensembles present free outdoor concerts at historic venues in our nation's capital for Washington area residents, as well as for visitors from around the world.
Performances by the Band's Airmen musicians can be enjoyed at the west steps of the U.S. Capitol every Tuesday evening and at the U.S. Air Force Memorial every Friday evening throughout the summer. Additional performances occur at outdoor venues throughout the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area as well.
A notable highlight of the summer schedule is the July Fourth Celebration at the U.S. Air Force Memorial.
