Band Members Find Fulfillment and Achievement through Distance Running
Members of the Concert Band await the start of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 5K in West Palm Beach, Fla. during the spring 2007 tour. For many members of the band, distance running has not only become a way to stay fit, but also a means to enjoy a challenge apart from the musical realm. Running also builds esprit de corps in the workplace, causing people from many different backgrounds to share a common interest. (AF photo by Technical Sgt. Brooke Emery)
